Dr. Mehul Patel, DDS

Dr. Mehul J Patel is genuinely passionate about providing every patient at Advanced Oral Surgery – Anderson with outstanding care. He is committed to making your experience exceptional. Your well-being is his priority, and he is dedicated to exceeding your expectations every step of the way.

He grew up in a family deeply rooted in dentistry. Inspired by his father, Dr. Patel knew from an early age that he wanted to pursue a career in dentistry. He completed his undergraduate studies at Pennsylvania State University, graduating early and with honors from the accelerated Pre-Medicine program. He pursued his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the prestigious Ivy League institution, Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he graduated at the top of his class. To further his expertise, he completed a year-long internship at the renowned Oral Surgical Institute. Dr. Patel then honed his skills during a rigorous 4-year surgical residency at Indiana University, under the mentorship of internationally recognized experts in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Currently, Dr. Patel serves as an adjunct faculty member at Indiana University’s Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department, where he mentors predoctoral students and surgical residents. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his family and friends, working out, staying active and traveling.
